Basic Lawn Service
Grass areas within the limits of the premises are mowed weekly, weather permitting during the months of March through October. In cases of drought stress or slow growth, mowing intervals may be adjusted. All grass is mowed at a height of three (3) inches, unless quality or grade requires a higher setting. Grass is cut so that no more than 1/3 of the grass blade is removed at one time. Grass clippings are removed to eliminate any visible buildup. All obstacles or areas not accessible with our mowing machine are "trimmed" with a string trimmer, in a manner as to avoid damage to the obstacle or grass. All curbs, sidewalks, and concrete driveways are edged with a steel blade mechanical edger to create a void between the turf and concrete. All excess clippings are blown from sidewalks, parking areas, driveways, etc. All trash and other debris on the turf and landscape areas are policed and removed from the site.

Spring & Fall Clean-up & Leaf Removal
Spring cleanup prepares the landscape for the start of another growth season. Leaves and other related debris, which would hinder new grass development, is removed from the lawn and landscape area. All existing bed areas and tree saucers are spade edged and have debris removed to provide a manicured appearance. Fall cleanup prepares the landscape for the winter months. Leaves and other related debris are removed from the lawn and landscape area. All existing bed areas and tree saucers have debris removed to provide a manicured appearance.

Mulching Shrubs & Flower Beds
Let the Lawn Barber maintain your existing landscape bed areas and tree saucers. We will ensure that they are spade edged and debris removed to provide a beautiful manicured appearance. Fresh mulch will be installed at a depth of three (3) inches and formed to be aesthetically appealing while maintaining all proper horticultural practices.

Hedge & Shrub Trimming
This is a great way to keep your landscape looking clean and kept. Hedge and Shrub trimming should be done at least twice a year to help maintain the size and shape of your plants. Overgrown hedges or shrubs can lead to added headaches such as weeds and pests. Letting your shrubs go to long can also result in problems with trimming them. If the branches are allowed to grow too large the bush could lose the shape you desire. If you have an overgrown edge or shrub, give us a call. The Lawn Barber will come in, trim them up and take away all the debris.
